A leading US law firm is seeking a junior Banking & Finance Associate (Lawyer) to join its highly ranked London team. The practice advises global financial institutions and corporates on complex, high-profile transactions across Europe and US. The team is widely recognised for its expertise in leveraged finance and acquisition finance, consistently ranked among the top firms for lender-side work and high-yield offerings.

What you'll do:

  • Work on a broad range of financial transactions, including acquisition and leveraged financings, equity capital markets and private transactions, recapitalisations and structured lending.
  • Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across global offices on multi-jurisdictional deals.
  • Engage directly with clients, including leading investment banks and private credit providers.

Key applicant requirements:

  • 1-3 years' PQE in Banking & Finance from a top-tier London firm.
  • Strong transactional banking experience, particularly in leveraged or acquisition finance.
