Job Summary
We are seeking Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills in various trades, including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, and electrical work. This role requires a hands-on approach to construction and maintenance tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
SELF EMPLOYED ROLE.
Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry tasks, including framing, installation of doors and windows, and cabinetry work.
- Perform roofing duties such as repairs, installations, and inspections to ensure structural integrity.
- Execute construction painting projects with attention to detail for both interior and exterior surfaces.
- Conduct plumbing installations and repairs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Engage in masonry work, including bricklaying and stonework for various structures.
- Undertake welding tasks for metal fabrication and repairs as needed.
- Apply electrical expertise for installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in fabrication projects as required, demonstrating creativity and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in multiple trades including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, and electrical work.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read technical drawings and plans accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness to handle the demands of manual labour involved in the role.
