Role/ Department
We are seeking a senior professional to join our Foreign Exchange (FX) Distribution team. This new role is critical to advancing our strategic goal of growing our FX platform businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling FX products and services to corporations, institutions, and consultants. This position requires a strong ability to identify client needs, develop tailored solutions, and deliver compelling value propositions to large and complex clients. The role combines technical expertise with strategic relationship management and leadership in solving challenges.

The Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include

  • Sell Foreign Exchange products and services to prospective institutional clients, generating fee revenue for the bank.
  • Lead customized sales presentations for large and complex clients, demonstrating deep understanding of FX and trust products.
  • Identify new prospects through research and develop prioritized sales plans to achieve growth objectives.
  • Oversee responses to requests for proposals and fee proposals for prospective clients.
  • Analyse data and processing methods to recommend solutions that enhance productivity and profitability.
  • Cross-sell complementary products and services by partnering with internal teams and understanding the full client relationship.
  • Maintain strong relationships with consultants and industry stakeholders to promote the bank's capabilities.

Skills/ Qualifications
The successful candidate will benefit from having:

  • Extensive knowledge of Foreign Exchange products and institutional trust services, with proven ability to analyse client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to confidently engage with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting and investment principles to support client recommendations.
  • Ability to interpret complex business challenges and apply solution-driven thinking to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Leadership capability to guide teams or projects and collaborate effectively across functions.
