Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a mid-weight Graphic Designer at our London location. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, with great attention to detail and have 5+ years' experience in graphic design. We're looking for someone who is aesthetically sensitive to all things Beauty - and ideally Skincare - to join our Marketing Team. This role would be best suited to someone who loves creative design, whilst understanding and adhering to the visual direction and codes of the brand.

This position reports to the Head of Marketing. You will work alongside our Head of Social and E-Commerce to create a broad suite of assets across all digital and offline channels, ensuring that the brands' key pillars are accurately conveyed.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand visual development:
  assist in the development and evolution of Zelens' visual identity, working closely with external agencies where required.
• Digital design:
   working with the marketing and sales team to create assets for the website, emails, social (paid and organic), retail and other digital marketing channels ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
• Print design:
  press releases, in-store signage, packaging and carton design. Visual merchandising and planograms experience are a plus, but not a requirement.
• Creative direction:
  ideating the creative direction for brand campaigns (alongside the Creative Director were appropriate), product launches, promotions and eventing.
• Photoshoot concepting, planning and assistance:
  working closely with the Creative Director to develop photography concepts; assist with the planning and organisation of photoshoots (shot lists, call sheets, product ordering, prop sourcing etc).
• Ownership of brand imagery:
   ownership and management of all brand imagery and assets.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience:
   5+ years in design, preferably in beauty or fashion for a premium or prestige brand/s. A strong portfolio showcasing an elevated, refined aesthetic with a keen attention to detail and expertise in digital and print design.
• Technical skills:
   advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign), motion graphics / video editing. The ideal candidate will need to be highly proficient in leveraging AI-powered tools for advanced image and video editing, creation, and enhancement. This includes using generative AI platforms to accelerate creative workflows, develop visual concepts, upscale or retouch media, as well as the production of dynamic video content with efficiency and precision. An ability to demonstrate an understanding of how AI integrates into modern design pipelines - enhancing creativity rather than replacing it – and of adapting to emerging technologies to maintain an elevated visual style is vital.
• Innovation and trend awareness:
  being able to identify emerging design trends, particularly within the beauty and luxury space, as well as what is happening within the wider design world, is important in order to keep Zelens' brand assets current and relevant.
• Project management:
   the ability to work efficiently with excellent organisational skills. Skilled management of multiple projects with tight deadlines is a must, as well as the ability to effectively communicate across departments.
