Job Summary

Voyager MPV is a busy specialist Taxi and Minibus Converter based in Crewe, Cheshire.

We are also manufacturing plywood and aluminium based products for leisure and commercial vehicles

A position has arisen to join our team, the successful candidate will report to the Workshop Manager. They will be responsible for the set up and general operations of a CNC routing and cutting machine, to manufacture a variety of panels, trimming, sanding and packing the finished kits.

Experience not essential as training will be given but, the successful candidate needs to a motivated individual with a 'can-do' attitude, confident to work on their own when necessary.

Key tasks will be:

Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner

Read and interpret production paperwork & drawings

Properly and safely load and off-load material and completed piece parts

Prepare and operate CNC machine to perform drilling & routing taks

Set machine to complete full program cycle to manufacture large numbers of piece parts

Supervise the CNC while in operation to make any necessary adjustments to produce better production results

Trim/sand panels to required standard, pack in boxes ready for dispatch

Perform daily & routine cleaning and light maintenance on CNC

Comply with all quality policies, specifications and instructions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
