Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to provide exceptional foods to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess efficient cooking skills, a passion for food, and extensive kitchen experience. This role involves overseeing food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a high level of hospitality. The Chef will play a vital role in creating fabulous dining experience to customers.

Duties

  • Ensure efficient workflow and high standards of food production
  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
  • Oversee food safety procedures, including hygiene practices and proper storage of ingredients
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control stock to minimise waste
  • Ensure all dishes are served promptly and meet customer expectations for presentation and taste
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment at all times
  • Uphold hospitality standards by providing excellent service and fostering a positive team atmosphere

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food production and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Skilled in food preparation, culinary techniques, and menu development
  • Experience in hospitality or serving roles is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
