Production Operatives – Line Setters

Tiger Tim Products Ltd. are the leading manufacturer of Firelighters and BBQ products in the world, based in Rhosesmor, North Wales.

We are currently looking for hardworking, quality-focused, great communicators, and team players to run our production lines.

The Role

As Line Setter you will be responsible for production lines during a shift, ensuring the production plan is fully achieved on time and in accordance with product and H&S standards.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of lines.
  • Be aware of the production plan for each shift, check all aspects of the line before starting up, plan and manage changeovers on the line.
  • Ensure the line is ready to hand over and ensure all issues are communicated.
  • Ensure that all quality checks are accurately completed by operators.
  • Assist in root cause analysis work.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct periodic checks on output efficiencies.
  • Carry out routine maintenance.
  • Rate after training: days £13.85/hour - nights £16.35/hour

Key Skills for the role:

  • Previous FMCG manufacturing experience is essential.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Hard working and have the ability to be on your feet for 12-hours.
  • Ability to follow instructions both verbally and written.
  • Problem solving and the ability to act quickly when problems arise.

The Hours

Winter Hours (From Mid August to Mid March) - our working week is Monday to Friday, working 4 x 12-hour shifts, working days and nights - weekly rotation.

Summer Hours (From Mid March to Mid August) - our working week is Monday to Friday and the shifts are 4 x 9.5 hour shifts, working days.

The role of a line setter does involve a degree of flexibility as overtime is needed.
