Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and administration. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in finance while contributing to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with HMRC to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Manage banking tasks, including handling transactions and performing reconciliations.
  • Communicate with clients to address financial queries and provide regular updates.
  • Support the maintenance and organization of financial records and documents.
  • Help prepare various financial reports and statements.
  • Work closely with the finance team to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and other routine financial transactions.
  • Contribute to budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
  • Perform other related tasks and duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar discipline.

ACCA part-qualified, or studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA, with solid understanding of accounting principles and UK financial regulations.

  • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Team player with a collaborative work approach.
  • Familiarity with relevant financial compliance and regulations.
