Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
  • Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and excellence in all culinary offerings
  • Maintain food safety procedures, including hygiene standards and allergen controls, in compliance with regulations
  • Assist in developing new menu items in collaboration with management, considering customer preferences and current trends
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimise waste
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure during busy service periods
  • Ability to cook with pans is desired
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
