Maths Teacher – Outstanding School – Croydon

An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in the London Borough of Croydon requires a dedicated and skilled Maths Teacher to join their high-achieving Mathematics department. This is a full-time, permanent position teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5). The school is committed to unlocking the potential of every student through excellent teaching.

Responsibilities:

The appointed Maths Teacher will plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the National Curriculum and challenge students to excel. You will foster a love of mathematics, develop problem-solving skills, assess student progress accurately, and provide effective feedback. Creating a positive and supportive learning environment and collaborating effectively with colleagues are key aspects of this Maths Teacher role. An excellent Maths Teacher is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must be a qualified Maths Teacher (QTS) with a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject. Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary level is essential. Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication abilities, and high expectations for all students are required.
