Technical Product Owner

6 Month contract initially

Based: Onsite in Reading

Rate: £400 - £450 p/d - (via Umbrella company)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Align product development with architectural standards and long-term tech strategy.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
  • Communicate technical constraints and possibilities clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Sprint Planning & Execution
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure technical stories are well-defined and achievable.
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Oversee technical debt management.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Product Lifecycle Ownership
  • Own specific components or features of the product.
  • Guide the team through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Technical Skills:

  • Software Development Knowledge
  • System Architecture Understanding (microservices, cloud-native design)

Key Skills & Experience:
Technical Vision & Strategy
