Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards throughout the preparation process.
• Assist customers with their orders, including upselling additional items when appropriate.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the kitchen.
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing.

Experience

• Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous.
• Basic maths skills are necessary for handling orders and managing inventory.
• A willingness to learn and help others in the team is essential for success in this role.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations is beneficial for maintaining high standards in food preparation.

Pay: £24,880.00-£28,246.29 per year
