Role Description

We are seeking a Gas Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the City of Bristol. This is a full-time, hybrid role, enabling a combination of on-site work and remote work when applicable. Main responsibilities include maintaining, servicing, and repairing gas systems to ensure safety and operational efficiency. The engineer will also perform fault diagnosis, carry out necessary compliance checks, and respond to emergency situations to restore equipment functionality promptly.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in gas systems maintenance, servicing, and repair
  • Knowledge of compliance checks and safety regulations related to gas appliances and equipment
  • Proficiency in fault diagnosis and problem-solving
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in gas safety (e.g., Gas Safe Register) and a valid driver's license
  • Experience working in facilities or maintenance engineering is advantageous
