Twisters Bar is regarded one of the best alternative night spots in the town. The DJs fuse great music from indie, rock and punk to classic soul, funk and more. We have our extensive range of classic cocktails, teapots to share and a cool range of canned craft beers.

We are looking for an experienced Bartender who is passionate with a love of the industry and can join the team and ensure that excellent customer service is delivered.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Mix and serve drinks accurately, consistently, and creatively
  • Memorize and recommend cocktails based on customer preferences
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and build rapport
  • Handle cash and card transactions quickly and correctly
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar, glassware, and equipment
  • Adhere to licensing laws, health and safety and fire safety regulations
  • Work efficiently under pressure during busy shifts and events
  • Train and mentor junior staff in service standards
  • Assist with promotions and events to boost sales and customer engagement
  • Troubleshoot issues (equipment, customer complaints, shortages) calmly and professionally
