Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical repairs and maintenance, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify mechanical problems.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of vehicles (Most UK brands), ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and equipment, providing accurate assessments of required repairs.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Mentor junior mechanics, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical maintenance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a mechanic, with a minimum of five years in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are preferred.
