US STOCKROOM ASSISTANT

Based at: Clapham Junction - Forbes and Lomax Ltd, St John's Hill, London, SW11.

Hours: Full Time Position (35 Hours a week)

Reports to: Warehouse Manage

Starting Salary: £26,000 p/a

Benefits: Annual bonus scheme, Birthday day off, cycle scheme.

Job purpose

We are currently looking to take on an additional Stockroom Assistant to work with the US Warehouse team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the busy team who is motivated, hard-working and efficient. Candidates should ideally have experience in the fields of logistics, warehouse and Inventory.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with stock preparation and orders.
  • Assist with record daily deliveries and report quickly any problems and discrepancies.
  • Loading and unloading suppliers' vans
  • Assist in receiving, moving, checking, storing and organising incoming goods.
  • Quality control - Particular eye to detail is most important as you will be quality checking the components arriving from supplier while you assemble.
