As our Social Media Manager, you will devise the strategic output across our range of social media channels, including Memento Exclusives home branded platforms as well as those dedicated to the audiences of our partners.

You will create dynamic, forward-thinking content designed to excite and engage sports fans about both our existing and newly launched officially licensed products. The ability to work to the evolving plans and needs of vertical leads with content fitting diverse audience segments (including e-commerce, shop, auction, B2B and private sales) is essential. We operate as a wider Marketing team using Monday workflow management and previous experience with this or similar software will be highly advantageous.

Your primary goal is promoting exclusive and unique products in the best light to sports fans. Experience of increasing visibility and engagement is appealing, but being able to prove a measurable impact affecting sales will make you stand out most. We are a commercially minded business entrusted by some of the most exciting brands in the world to present their officially licensed products in the manner they deserve.

You will be tasked with ensuring all contractually committed collaborations with our officially licensed partners are utilised and will contact partners for approval of social media assets, building relationships to ensure we support to the maximum extent possible. You will also engage with influencers and other social media channels to explore opportunities to feature the company and its products elsewhere.

An ability to shoot, edit and upload content in a timely manner and adhering to company process and software is essential. You will also be expected to assist with fan engagement, responding to comments on social channels and spotting opportunities to direct followers to specific products and auction listings.

You will be expected to provide reports to your line-manager on the ongoing success of each social media channel and use these insights to adapt your strategy, staying up to date with best practice and suggesting fresh ideas to remain relevant, appealing and commercially astute.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement a social media strategy and calendar across various platforms, reaching diverse audiences across different sports retail verticals.

Work alongside and help to grow a team of content creators and executives.

Collaborate closely with our internal teams to understand their requirements for upcoming campaigns and spotlight moments.

Strategize growth campaigns for our social media accounts

Arrange and work with our partners to secure filming opportunities, social media posts and engagement

Maximise contractually agreed collaboration campaigns, offering insight and evidenced reasoning behind what is posted and when.

Work efficiently and effectively within specific guidelines to create visually engaging content.

Develop eye-catching posts that align with brand identity and wider marketing goals.

Assist with the capture and edit of engaging, high quality, polished content.

Manage workloads efficiently, ensuring timely completion of assets.

Interact with customers on social publicly and privately

Support the Head of Marketing with any other social-related needs and tasks as they emerge.

Remian commercially minded and deliver content that contributes to the sales of exciting products

Be able to justify your recommendations with data and report on the performance of campaigns, making recommendations for changes from the insight you gain

About You:

Demonstrable experience of running successful social media accounts

Knowledge of varied channels such as Instagram/Facebook and LinkedIn

Ability to demonstrate commercial impact from social activities

Working knowledge of workflow management software such as Monday

Ability to offer strategic and creative ideas to help fulfil overarching plans of a wider marketing team

Self-sufficient and able to work independently

Confident in providing regular reports highlighting success and recommending change

Note: Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be expected to be based at our head office near Northampton, Monday to Friday. Some out of hours availability may also be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
