We are recruiting an Experienced Mechanic for our client, a well-established independent garage. If you have expertise in water pumps, engine repairs, clutches, and electrical systems, this is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Water Pump Repairs: Diagnose and fix issues with water pumps, including leaks and overheating. Replace damaged parts as needed.
  • Engine Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair engine problems, including replacing worn parts like pistons, timing chains, and cylinders.
  • Clutch Repairs: Inspect and repair clutch systems, replace worn-out parts, and adjust to ensure smooth shifting.
  • Electrical Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, alternators, and lights.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a mechanic, with knowledge of water pumps, engines, clutches, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Experience with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Good attention to detail and quality work.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • [Optional] Certification in automotive or mechanical repair (e.g., ASE, NVQ).
