Join Thames Water as an Asset Integration Engineer

Are you ready to take on a vital role that drives positive change and impacts communities?

We're looking for an Asset Integration Engineer to join our team and help deliver high-quality, seamless asset integration throughout the project lifecycle. You'll be at the heart of maintaining and expanding our waste and water assets across the Thames Valley, working closely with project delivery teams and contractor stakeholders.

What you'll be doing as an Asset Integration Engineer

  • Monitor compliance with environmental requirements in asset design, delivery, and testing; monitor delivery performance; and work with contractors to address issues and improve.
  • Ensure health and safety are at the forefront of everything completed on our sites.
  • Supporting contractor and Operations liaison during the design process, promoting innovation, best practice, and compliance with quality standards; planning for commissioning as part of the design process, system integration, operability, and maintainability.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, seeking opportunities.
  • Working with the TW project managers to ensure everything is completed correctly and to Thames Water standards.

Hybrid – Thames Valley, you will be based on site and in the office 2-3 days and as the business requires.

36 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

Must have a driving licence and access to a car - this role comes with a £4,500 car allowance.

What you should bring to the role

To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you'll need is:

  • HNC or above in an appropriate engineering subject or significant experience in a similar role.
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate or SMSTS.
  • Understanding the development of design, construction, and operation of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
