Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of an Art curriculum that sparks passion and encourages exploration of diverse mediums.
  • Support teachers in creating engaging and inspiring Art lessons.
  • Promote the use of innovative artistic techniques and resources.
  • Encourage student participation in art clubs, competitions, and exhibitions.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the Art department.
  • Contribute to the school's focus on student engagement and well-being through the arts.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Fine Art or a related subject.
  • Substantial experience teaching Art at secondary level, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement engaging and inspiring Art curriculum.
  • Strong understanding of diverse artistic practices and contemporary art.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
