Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Dudley for a CNC Miller. The CNC Miller will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components according to specifications. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, performing machine adjustments, quality inspection of finished products, and ensuring machine maintenance.

The role will involve working closely with the engineering team to optimize processes and maintain production schedules.

Qualifications

  • Conversant with Heldenhain Controls, Work NC or Similar CAM Software
  • Strong skills in Preventive Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Maintenance & Repair
  • Experience with Power Tools and Hand Tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Knowledge of machining processes and materials
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in machining or manufacturing
  • Previous experience in a toolmaking or engineering environment is an advantage
