This Consultant will be part of an Ageing & Health Team to review patients and plan their discharge.

Meet with Team first thing to allocate work, prioritise new patients and ensure all patients seen at least twice a week with a plan in their notes.

Support available from specialities on site.

Last hour of the day used to support Admin activities.

With option to cover front door acute medicine. Rotating into a ward as a shared responsibility

Liaising with the Operational Manager to support patients and resident Doctors.

Essential
What We're Looking For

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
  • UK Right to Work
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills

Desirable

  • CCT in Geriatric Medicine (or within 6 months of achieving it)
