Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven product marketing leader to oversee the marketing strategy for our Advisory & Consulting portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President of Product Portfolio Marketing, Business & Market Insights, this role is pivotal in shaping, executing, and managing the go-to-market approach for the portfolio. The Director will collaborate cross-functionally with consulting practices, product management, sales, and services marketing to differentiate and elevate our offerings in the market.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in competitive positioning and marketing campaign strategy, along with a proven ability to craft tailored marketing strategies for diverse customer segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the marketing strategy for the Advisory & Consulting portfolio across all stages of the product lifecycle—from launch to growth and maturity.
- Partner with product management to align on business objectives and support integrated B2B marketing strategies across multiple channels.
- Create compelling messaging and value propositions that clearly differentiate our offerings. Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and customer research to refine positioning and ensure alignment with market needs.
- Build and maintain a thought leadership calendar in partnership with consulting leadership. Collaborate with the services marketing team to amplify thought leadership through campaigns and content.
- Work across the product marketing team to integrate advisory and consulting offerings into solution messaging and assets tailored to target buying centers.
- Serve as the liaison between marketing and consulting practice teams, managing content creation and coordinating with services marketing to leverage materials in outbound efforts.
- Utilize market research, customer feedback, sales insights, and competitive intelligence to inform portfolio strategy and identify growth opportunities.
- Track and analyze the impact of product marketing initiatives. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and demonstrate business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in product marketing and/or campaign strategy, ideally in a B2B environment.
- Background in consulting or experience marketing a consulting portfolio.
- Strong understanding of thought leadership development and amplification.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth through strategic marketing.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Analytical mindset with a strong ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
