We have a fantastic opportunity for a trainee/qualified dental nurse to join our team. Our dental practice is situated 1.5 miles away from Newcastle City Centre in the vibrant area of Westerhope

We are a large, mixed NHS and private dental practice. We have a great team ethos and regularly enjoy team building activities together.

Details

  • No experience required. All training provided in house prior to starting the dental nurse qualification.
  • Full time position 3-5 days per week
  • Standard working day: pm
  • No weekends
  • Immediate start available

Job Specification

  • Chairside assistance - side support for our dentists
  • Maintaining and updating digitally held patient records
  • Undertake some reception duties
  • Willingness to provide exceptional patient care
  • No experience required. All training provided in house prior to starting the dental nurse qualification.
  • Opportunity to join our domiciliary team - supplemental pay applies
  • No weekends

Necessary Requirements

  • Level 4 GCSE English & Maths
  • Willingness to have Hepatitis B vaccination (cost covered by the practice)
  • Enhanced CRB check (paid for by applicant)

Dental nurse training information

Dental nurse trainees can work for up to 2 years prior to commencing the dental nurse training programme. The cost of the dental nurse qualification course is currently around £2100 and is payable by the applicant. The out of practice teaching time for this course is one half day per week, completed in the applicants own time.
