Job Description
Are you a sports betting enthusiast with experience of writing on the subject and knowledge of content management and SEO? If so, you might be our perfect candidate
We're looking for a Content Manager to contribute to driving success on Better Collective's assets across the UK & North America.
The role
As a Content Manager, your key objectives will be developing, optimising and coordinating the production of high-quality betting and casino content. Working in our London office (in a hybrid WFH model), you will become part of a highly skilled and dedicated team catering to user groups in the sports betting and the iGaming verticals across the UK and North America.
We believe that great SEO content isn't content that features the most keywords- it's the content that performs the best in organic search. That starts with an aspiration to create the best content for the informational needs of our visitors. This might include crafting stories and providing statistical commentary on popular betting markets or detailed, informative content on betting and iGaming operators and offers. We're not interested in creating digital landfill; we want to create content that achieves fantastic reach.
What Does This Job Offer You
- The chance to develop content across high profile assets in the UK, US & Canada
- The opportunity to combine your ambition to advance your content and SEO skills with your passion for sports and betting
- Collaboration with market-leading experts on SEO & digital marketing
- High degree of ownership and responsibility in work
- Daily working life in a dynamic, welcoming and highly international work environment
- 30 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)
- Private health and dental insurance, income protection and life assurance
- £35 per month towards broadband costs
- Enhanced Pension plan
- Vibrant working space, with regular social fun activities
As our content manager you will
- Work with a Team Lead to ensure quality, SEO optimisation & content monetisation
- Receive content management and SEO training from experienced team members
- Facilitate content production according to our assets' content strategies
- Contribute ideas that develop and improve those strategies
- Build relevant tracking links and ad placements
- Work closely with the team to ensure the content is optimised for search engines
- Create new content briefs and guide production based on business priorities
- Regularly monitor dedicated KPIs and user metrics
Job requirements
- Knowledge of sports and the target audience of bettors
- Good knowledge in sports betting (casino is a plus but not necessary)
- Passionate about content production and has a keen eye for detail
- Experience in writing content that performs well in organic search
- Strong communicator capable of briefing writers to achieve great results
- Proactive and passionate about reaching goals
