The Main Purpose of Your Role

The Client Manager is a target-carrying individual contributor responsible for the day-to-day management, revenue growth, and retention of assigned client accounts. You'll work closely with the Global Client Partner and Client Services teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Your role will involve developing strong client relationships, understanding client needs to deliver tailored solutions, expanding Mauve services within accounts, and supporting aftersales queries.

Due to the high number of US-based clients, you may occasionally work outside standard hours to accommodate client time zones.

What Will You Be Doing as the Client Manager?

  • Serve as the primary contact for managed client accounts
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Set up services for new and existing accounts with accuracy and compliance
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Generate referrals and secure testimonials, case studies, and endorsements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Resolve client issues in conjunction with Client Services
  • Monitor account performance and provide regular updates
  • Conduct client check-ins per Global Client Partner guidelines
  • Participate in bids and tenders from existing clients
  • Represent Mauve at domestic and international events, trade shows, and forums (including speaking opportunities)
  • Track and report client activities using Salesforce
  • Maintain Salesforce accuracy and a healthy sales pipeline
  • Present regular reports on account status and performance
  • Collaborate with Inbound and Outbound teams for smooth client handovers
  • Provide feedback to marketing via Global Client Partners
  • Track individual expenses for budget reporting
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Degree educated or 3 years' experience in the EoR sector/industry

Desirable

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field

Knowledge & Experience

Essential Skills

  • At least 3 years' experience in the EoR sector/industry.
  • Experience working for a global organisation.
  • Experience of successfully managing and growing client accounts.
  • Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Sage People.
  • At least 3 years' demonstrable experience of working in a sales environment or allied service such as business development, client services, or products.
