Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and demonstrate exceptional guest service skills. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing prompt and attentive service, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items when appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are noted.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
  • Handle payments accurately and efficiently, providing guests with their bills upon request.

Skills

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Strong upselling skills to enhance guest experience and drive sales.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
  • Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • A genuine desire to help others, ensuring all guests feel valued and well cared for during their visit.
