Occupational Therapist

Location: Liverpool

Contract: FTC

Hours: 2-3 days per week

Salary: up to £44,000

We're seeking a passionate and committed Occupational Therapist to join a supportive environment for a 12-month maternity cover contract.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Provide occupational therapy services within schools in your region.
  • Collaborate with school communities to support high-quality provision for students.
  • Deliver training and implement interventions to help young people in their daily lives.
  • Offer environmental advice to enable students to access their education effectively.

About You

  • HCPC registered
  • 2-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous experience working in a school environment.
  • Knowledge of the occupational therapy process, with an understanding of a range of assessments and interventions, including sensory processing and SEMH.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work creatively and flexibly to support children with additional needs.
  • Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with a remote therapy team and wider professionals.
