Group Lead Volunteer

Long Ashton (All Saints) Scouts is a thriving village based Scout Group. We need a new Group Lead Volunteer (GLV) to:
- Lead and manage the Scout Group, supporting other adult volunteers and providing motivation and guidance
- Be inspiring, resourceful and enthusiastic
- Apply strategic thinking to challenges
- Believe passionately about developing young people and volunteers
- Take on the whole role or certain aspects of it as part of a two person job share
- No prior experience of Scouting is required - training and support will be provided
A GLV is a leader and manager of the Group, supporting other adult volunteers by providing motivation and guidance. The role is crucial in ensuring we provide first-class Scouting for young people in our village.

The deadline for expressions of interest in the role (or job share) is Sunday 16th November. We hope to appoint our new GLV by the end of this year.
