As a
Platform Engineering Manager
, you will lead and mentor engineers building the core platform capabilities that power all of our product squads. You'll play a crucial role in defining the vision, architecture, and delivery of platform services, infrastructure, and internal tooling that enable our teams to build, test, and deploy with speed and confidence.

This is a hands-off, strategic leadership role embedded in the Platform team — focused on reliability, scalability, developer experience, and engineering excellence across our entire technology landscape.

What You Will Do

• Lead and inspire two Platform Engineering squads responsible for infrastructure, developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and shared services.
• Drive clarity of purpose and technical strategy across the platform teams while ensuring alignment with the wider engineering and company vision.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers, SREs, architects, and product stakeholders to ensure delivery of resilient, scalable, and secure platform capabilities.
• Champion internal developer experience: make it easier and faster for teams to build, ship, and operate services reliably.
• Measure and improve platform performance using metrics such as DORA, MTTR, SLO adherence, developer productivity, and FinOps efficiency.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, platform thinking, and operational excellence.
• Own and evolve the platform roadmap, balancing short-term needs with long-term scalability and sustainability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Product to influence and align platform strategy with product goals.

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership in Platform, SRE, or Infrastructure-focused teams, ideally within modern cloud-native environments.
• Strong understanding of platform engineering principles: developer experience, reliability engineering, CI/CD systems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Demonstrated ability to drive engineering excellence using metrics such as DORA, MTTR, and SLOs/SLA.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams through coaching, feedback, and career development.
• Ability to balance technical depth with strategic oversight — guiding teams without micromanaging.
• Excellent cross-functional communication, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.
• Passion for empowering product teams through platform innovation and internal tooling.
