We are seeking a proactive, engaging Restaurant Supervisor to join our team and help deliver outstanding guest experiences in a resort environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures, service flow, guest seating, and staff deployment.
- Lead, mentor and motivate a team of servers, hosts/hostesses, bussers and support staff; provide coaching, feedback and training as required.
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards are maintained at all times: greeting guests, monitoring service quality, handling guest enquiries or complaints swiftly and professionally.
- Assist in managing reservations, guest seating plans, table turn-times, and liaising with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.
- Monitor and maintain hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards in the restaurant area in line with regulatory requirements and resort standards.
- Support stock control, inventory of service supplies, cutlery, glassware, linen, and coordinate with F&B management on purchase orders or requisitions.
- Assist with staff scheduling, time-keeping and shift allocation, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods (e.g., weekends, events, weddings).
- Monitor guest feedback (via comment cards, online reviews, direct guest interactions) and work with management to implement improvements.
- Contribute to achieving revenue targets, upselling where appropriate, and ensuring a positive dining throughput aligned with resort goals and seasonal demands.
- Support special events, weddings or banquets organised by the resort—coordinating with events team and adapting restaurant operations accordingly.
- Participate in induction and training of new restaurant staff, ensuring they understand our brand standards, service etiquette and resort culture.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience (minimum 2-3 years) in a supervisory or senior service role within a restaurant, hotel, resort or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to supervise, train and motivate a service team.
- Excellent guest-facing communication and interpersonal skills; confident dealing with diverse clientele.

- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy service environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and on-call during busy resort periods or special event days.
- A warm, approachable demeanour and a passion for hospitality; ability to align with the resort's brand values of minimalistic design, Asian hospitality and local sourcing. (See about us section above)
