A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an engaging, inspirational, passionate and committed teacher to join MIAG Education Alternative Provision based in Brislington, Bristol.

As a teacher you are at the heart of our delivery, therefore you must possess the ability to motivate students to develop their skills and to reach their full potential and have the passion and empathy for working with young people aged 7-16 years of age with different abilities, including young people with additional needs. You will use innovative methods to deliver creative, fun and engaging sessions for maths and english with a focus on supporting the learners to achieve their aspirations and to improve their outcomes

This role includes full teaching responsibilities, including delivering the curriculum against standards, planning and preparing sessions and marking work. You will be part of regular team meetings, and we will provide you with professional development opportunities.

We are currently in the process of seeking DFE Registration to become a full-time provider. Currently we can only offer part-time provision to learners, however these posts are full-time but we will consider requests for reduced working time.

Required skills and experience for this FS tutor role:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (Essential)

· Assessor Qualification (desirable but not essential)

· Excellent delivery skills and proficient classroom management

· Excellent communication skills and a good command of the English spoken language

· Excellent coordination and organisational skills

· Excellent time management

· Be Innovative, fast thinking and versatile.

· Self-motivated, able to work to performance targets and KPIs

· Good general level of ICT skills including Microsoft Office
