Please note: we currently have no capacity for male care assistants.

What You'll Do as a Live-in Carer

As a Live-in Care Assistant, you'll provide essential support to our clients in their own homes, including:

  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Preparing hot, nutritious meals
  • Personal shopping and running errands
  • Assisting with personal care and administering medication
  • Helping with household tasks such as laundry and cleaning
  • Encouraging independence and community involvement
  • Driving - this is an important part of the role, you must be a confident in driving and willing to support our client with outings, running errands and travel
What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 1 year of professional care experience
  • Must have a full clean driving licence and ready to travel nationally to the client
  • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off live-in
  • Proof of right to work in the UK
  • Strong communication skills written and spoken English
  • Compassion, patience, and a caring nature
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
  • Willingness to travel anywhere in the UK for placements
