Job Overview
ADSL is seeking an organised, proactive, and motivated Technical Assistant & Customer Service Administrator to join our growing team. This is a varied and rewarding position that combines customer service, administrative coordination, and technical support, while also undertaking Responsible Person (RP) duties within the cosmetic sector to ensure full compliance with UK and EU cosmetic regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day business operations, responding to customer and client queries, maintaining internal documentation and compliance records, and assisting with technical processes such as product registration, data management, and quality assurance. Good computer literacy, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently are essential.
We are looking for someone who is detail-focused, proactive, and confident in communication, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. You will need a technically-minded approach and the willingness to learn regulatory and compliance processes. A strong customer-centric attitude, combined with professionalism, reliability, and discretion, will be key to success in this role.
Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, messaging platforms, and support systems
Provide clear, professional information regarding products, services, and processes
Manage and resolve customer queries, complaints, returns, and follow-up communications
Maintain a positive customer experience and uphold company values in all interactions
Liaise with regulatory team members to ensure compliance for cosmetic products in line with UK and EU legislation and varying legislations
Maintain and update Product Information Files (PIFs) and safety records
Monitor regulatory updates and support continuous compliance improvements Technical Support Assistance
Assist with basic troubleshooting and problem resolution
Liaise with technical and product teams to escalate or resolve issues
Prepare service reports, documentation, and technical files

Pay: £24,420.00-£27,500.00 per year
