We have a new opportunity for an Evening Public Area Cleaner to join our hotel; you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits which include free onsite parking, free membership to our state of the art gym and golf club, discounted food & beverage and discounted stays within the group.

As our Evening Public Area Cleaner, you should be reliable and committed, with excellent personal presentation. You should have exceptional attention to detail, a passion for providing excellent customer service, and the ability to work under pressure is also required.

As a busy hotel and under the guidance of the Housekeeping Manager you will need an eye of detail and work under your own initiative to ensure that public areas are cleaned to the highest of standards required and always presentable for our guest's arrival. You are the key to ensuring that the hotel is always ready to welcome its new guests.

Key responsibilities for the Evening Public Area Cleaner are:

  • Ensure that the hotel's public areas (internal & external) are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness at all times.
  • Work as part of a team that maximises guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to all guest requests.
  • Take responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
  • Change and replenish bed linen, towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines.
  • Ensure that all hotel bedrooms and corridors are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness at all times.
  • Carry out cleaning duties with as little inconvenience to guests as possible.
  • Pay special attention to the lobby, lifts, guest toilets and the main staircase.
  • Report all maintenance faults as soon as located to either the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor.
  • Be responsible for all cleaning equipment ensuring that it is used, cleaned and maintained correctly.
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented.
