Your Role as a Housekeeping Assistant

As a Bank Housekeeping Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning resident rooms, communal areas, and staff facilities to a high standard
• Ensuring infection control procedures are followed at all times
• Handling laundry duties including washing, drying, and distributing clean linen
• Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls
• Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards promptly
• Working collaboratively with care and nursing staff to support overall wellbeing

Essential Criteria

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A genuine interest in working in a care home environment
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to undertake training relevant to the role
• Flexibility to work shifts on an as-needed basis
• Right to work in the UK (proof will be required)
• Willingness to undergo an Access NI Enhanced Disclosure Check
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a Housekeeping role
