What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing mechanical components, enclosures, and assemblies in
    SOLIDWORKS
  • Creating technical drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation
  • Getting involved in
    design reviews
    and prototype iterations
  • Collaborating daily with
    electronics, software, and optics engineers
  • Seeing how ideas evolve into fully manufactured products
  • Getting hands-on with
    assembly, testing, and troubleshooting

What We're Looking For

  • MEng in Mechanical Engineering (or related subject)
  • Solid grounding in mechanics, materials, and core engineering principles
  • Some experience with
    SOLIDWORKS
    (from uni projects or placements)
  • Eagerness to work
    onsite in a lab-based role
  • Curiosity for how things work and a love of solving technical problems
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, hands-on mindset

Bonus Skills (Not Essential, But Great To Have)

  • Experience with prototyping or basic fabrication
  • Any hands-on work with mechanical assemblies or design projects
  • Interest in
    vision science, medical devices
    , or
    research instrumentation
