Aquent is partnering with a global leader renowned for its innovative solutions that empower businesses and individuals to create, connect, and thrive in the digital age. This company is at the forefront of its industry, constantly pushing boundaries to deliver unparalleled experiences and drive significant impact worldwide.

Are you a visionary marketing leader ready to make an extraordinary impact, shaping the future of a critical business segment? We are seeking an exceptional individual to step into a pivotal role, acting as the strategic marketing "CMO" for a high-growth enterprise segment. This is your chance to directly influence revenue growth, drive market penetration, and forge deep, lasting relationships with sales leadership, becoming an indispensable partner in achieving ambitious business objectives. Your expertise will not only define marketing strategy but also translate directly into tangible business success and elevated customer engagement.

About the Role:

As the Director of Marketing, you will be the strategic architect and driving force behind marketing initiatives for a key enterprise segment. You will own the marketing strategy from conception to execution, partnering directly with sales leadership to understand market dynamics, identify opportunities, and deliver integrated marketing programs that fuel pipeline creation, accelerate deal velocity, and strengthen customer loyalty. This role is for a leader who thrives on accountability, is deeply data-driven, and possesses an innate ability to translate market insights into impactful, measurable results.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary strategic marketing partner and single point of contact for sales leadership within your assigned segment.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive regional marketing plans that align with global priorities and are precisely tailored to the unique needs of your segment.
  • Represent the full spectrum of marketing capabilities, orchestrating an integrated mix of campaigns, programs, and events to create and progress sales pipeline.
  • Take ownership of key performance indicators, deeply understanding pipeline and bookings targets, account engagement metrics, and marketing's direct contribution to attainment.
  • Become the definitive expert on your segment and its market, proactively identifying emerging opportunities, potential risks, and strategic areas for engagement.
  • Champion executive engagement and thought leadership through impactful events, compelling content, and targeted outreach initiatives.
  • Drive seamless alignment across business development, campaign, and digital teams to ensure laser-focused efforts on priority accounts and industries.
  • Elevate market presence through strategic partnerships, participation in key industry events, and dynamic digital activations.
  • Act as the authentic voice of the customer, bringing invaluable insights to continuously shape and refine marketing and sales strategies.
  • Actively participate in weekly sales meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), presenting marketing performance, insights, and optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft quarterly and half-year segment marketing plans, aligning with global persona campaigns and segment priorities.
  • Ensure business development prospecting efforts are precisely targeted to priority industries and accounts, leveraging robust insights, data, and analytics.
  • Drive operational and analytical rigor, connecting insights across teams to prioritize critical customer and segment needs.
  • Host impactful executive meetings, bootcamps, and roundtables designed to deepen engagement and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Orchestrate participation in major industry events, meticulously monitoring registrations and ensuring content supports every stage of the buyer journey, including localization needs.
  • Partner with customer success teams to develop and run advocacy programs, enhance onboarding journeys, and drive upsell/cross-sell initiatives.
  • Amplify the company's voice through thought-provoking blogs, leading social engagement, and representing the organization at key industry events.
  • Rigorously track and report marketing impact with clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on engagement, pipeline, and bookings, sharing actionable insights with leadership.

What You'll Deliver:

  • Strategic marketing plans that expertly align global campaigns with segment-specific objectives.
  • Clear, quantifiable measurement of marketing's direct impact on account engagement, pipeline creation, progression, and bookings.
  • Robust cross-functional alignment that significantly accelerates execution and measurably improves sales outcomes.
  • Dynamic customer advocacy programs and compelling success stories that strengthen retention and foster loyalty.

Must-Haves:

  • Exceptional executive presence and strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and build trust with senior sales leaders.
  • At least 15 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years at the Director level.
  • A deep and comprehensive understanding of marketing strategy, coupled with the ability to design the optimal campaign mix (especially events and Account-Based Marketing) to support aggressive growth targets.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to communicate marketing's business impact in clear, outcome-focused terms.
  • A creative thinker who thrives in ambiguity and maintains an insatiable curiosity for market trends and customer needs.
