London, Greater London, United Kingdom Atlan Full time £60,000 - £120,000 per year

Data is at the core of modern business, yet many teams struggle with its overwhelming volume and complexity. At Atlan, we're changing that. As the world's first active metadata platform, we help organisations transform data chaos into clarity and seamless collaboration.

From Fortune 500 leaders to hyper-growth startups, from automotive innovators redefining mobility to healthcare organisations saving lives, and from Wall Street powerhouses to Silicon Valley trailblazers — we empower ambitious teams across industries to unlock the full potential of their data.

Recognised as leaders by Gartner and Forrester and backed by Insight Partners, Atlan is at the forefront of reimagining how humans and data work together. Joining us means becoming part of a movement to shape a future where data drives extraordinary outcomes.

Atlan is hiring a Manager, Global Compensation & Benefits to help design and scale our global rewards infrastructure across the UK, India, and the US.

As we grow, our compensation and benefits systems must be both scalable and principled—supporting our business while earning the trust of our team. This role will lead day-to-day compensation operations while helping shape a thoughtful, efficient, and globally consistent total rewards experience.

This is a strategic and operational role. You'll partner closely with Talent, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to ensure we're making fair, data-driven, and high-integrity decisions about how we reward people across countries, levels, and contexts.

Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain compensation and benefits systems that support our ability to attract, retain, and motivate top talent globally

  • Serve as the internal point of contact for compensation, equity, and benefits programs, including company-wide variable compensation and commission plans

  • Maintain and evolve compensation bands by region, level, and function

  • Lead execution of global compensation cycles, including tooling, reviews, and communications

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on offer structuring, leveling, and candidate comms

  • Manage equity guidelines, exception handling, and approvals in partnership with Legal and Finance

  • Support benefits consistency and simplification across India, UK, and EOR partners

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance and documentation integrity

  • Identify, scope, and implement improvements to core rewards systems and workflows

Requirements
  • 5–7 years of experience in total rewards, compensation, or HR operations, ideally in a multi-country environment

  • Deep expertise in India compensation design, leveling, and regulatory context

  • Strong working knowledge of global benchmarking, equity administration, and benefits structuring

  • Proven experience running compensation programs or cycles in partnership with Finance, Legal, and Talent

  • Trusted communicator who can explain complex tradeoffs to stakeholders and guide offer or policy decisions

  • Data-savvy and tool-fluent. Confident using benchmarks, Google Sheets, dashboards, and AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance clarity and speed

  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, async-first environment
