Who You Will Work With

Our client is global financial services firm that manages wealth, navigates complex markets, and design strategic financial objectives. The firm provides risk management solutions across a variety of sectors, emphasizing long-term relationships, and innovative approaches to financial challenges.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with teams to gather data and build scalable ETL pipelines using Python and Databricks and manage the full engineering lifecycle from extraction to loading to ensure accuracy.
  • Build and run ETL pipelines to transform and load data for business use.
  • Design and operate robust data pipelines with performance and error oversight.
  • Participate in agile processes, including sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives, and conduct code reviews, ensuring quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline workflows.
  • Implement unit, integrate and test other methodologies to ensure ETL reliability.
  • Connecting and integrating multiple data sources using REST APIs and other techniques.
  • Keep documentation up to date, including data flow diagrams, technical specs, and process details.

What you bring:

  • Strong Python programming skills with experience on writing efficient, maintainable code.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services (Databricks) for scalable data pipelines.
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses and code versioning tools (e.g., Git)
  • Solid understanding of ETL principles, data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration best practices.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, collaborative work, and strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of Linux and REST API integration techniques
  • Background in database administration, performance tuning, and integrating with systems like ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow) and exposure to big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark), and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
