LEC Robotics

About LEC Robotics

LEC Robotics is the UK distributor of advanced commercial service robots, providing automation solutions for restaurants, hotels, retail, care homes, and facilities management businesses. As labour challenges grow and customer expectations rise, our robots offer businesses a way to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate service quality.

Role Purpose

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling service robots such as delivery robots, hotel-service robots, cleaning robots and heavy-load transport robots. This is a pure sales role with a strong emphasis on prospecting, pitching, demonstrating robots, closing deals, and building long-term customer relationships.

Your mission is simple: win new business and grow LEC Robotics' market share across the UK.

Key Sales Responsibilities

  • Proactively source, identify, and contact new business customers across hospitality, hotels, restaurants, retail, care homes, logistics and facilities management.

  • Run high-impact sales presentations and robot demonstrations, both onsite and virtually.

  • Develop competitive commercial proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals.

  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation through to signature.

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, measured by revenue and units sold.

  • Build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline using the company CRM.

  • Work with the technical team to ensure successful installation and handover after each sale.

  • Maintain strong post-sale relationships to drive repeat purchases, fleet expansions, and referrals.

  • Represent LEC Robotics at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events to generate new leads.

  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasting accuracy, and competitor insights to management.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally selling technology, equipment, automation, or capital products.

  • Proven track record of hunting, closing, and consistently hitting sales targets.

  • Strong consultative selling approach, able to understand a client's operational challenges and position robots as the solution.

  • Excellent pitching skills with confidence to present to senior decision-makers.

  • Ability to explain ROI and commercial benefits clearly and persuasively.

  • Great relationship-builder, resilient, self-motivated and target-driven.

  • Comfortable travelling throughout the UK for demos and client meetings.

Desirable

  • Existing B2B network in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, care homes or facilities management.

  • Prior experience selling high-ticket technology, automation, or equipment.

  • Interest in robotics, automation, AI, or operational efficiency tools.

Probation & Compensation

  • Probation Period: 3 months.

  • Bonus: Extremely generous performance-based bonus structure (details provided during the interview process).

  • Competitive base salary plus benefits.
