Since 2012, We have been working in partnership with the British Army to deliver best in class recruitment services. The Recruiting Partnership Project (RPP) is responsible for attracting, sourcing and selecting officers and soldiers for the Army (Regular and Reserve), meeting targets based around volume, shape & diversity and in delivering an excellent candidate experience
Your role as an Interviewer/Assessor is to guide and nurture candidates applying to the British Army through the assessment process in an unbiased, friendly and controlled environment.
As an Interviewer/Assessor You will be responsible for the implementation of both physical and psychometric assessment activities under strict test conditions. The application of a detailed marking guide to ensure candidates are graded in accordance with their ability.
This role will involve working a shift pattern of 37.5 hours per week over a 7-day period. This will include overnight chaperone and 'on call' duties once per week.
Job Description:
What you'll be doing:
- Briefing and delivering all cognitive assessment activities under test conditions
- Contributing to an un-biased test environment for all assessment activities
- Assessing candidates against fixed criteria
- Providing feedback on a candidate's performance at assessment, their assessment outcome and their next steps in the recruitment process
- Conducting individual career discussions with candidates
- Writing accurate reports to assist recruiters and Basic Training Instructors to understand the candidate's strengths and weaknesses
What we're looking for:
- All candidates must hold a valid UK driving licence and be willing to travel or commute as required.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- The ability to nurture and mentor candidates
- Excellent Team Player
- Familiarity with Army Careers, would be an advantage
- Organised approach
- Strong attention to detail
- Good MS Office skills
