Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred, along with a strong focus on food safety and responsible service. Responsibilities

  • Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Take orders accurately and process payments using the till system
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout the shift
  • Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment and handle any queries or concerns professionally
  • Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and adhere to licensing laws
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables or bar areas as required during busy periods
  • Follow all health and safety regulations diligently, including proper handling of food and beverages

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is advantageous
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
  • Ability to serve efficiently under pressure during busy periods
  • Good communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required by the venue's operating hours
