Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in SQL, data governance, and business use of data. This role requires someone who understands the delicate balance between delivering high-quality solutions and adhering to governance standards, with a focus on financial services (though experience in this sector is not a strict requirement).

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data pipelines, SQL database development, and cloud technologies, as well as the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders and users to drive business-critical data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Leverage your SQL, Azure Data Factory, DBT, and Python skills to design and build robust data solutions.
  • Ensure the governance and standards of data use are upheld, balancing the need for innovation with operational efficiency.
  • Manage large datasets, optimizing performance for improved efficiency.
  • Work with DevOps practices, including automated deployments and source control tools like Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, and GIT.
  • Develop solutions that can be passed seamlessly to first-level support.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and users to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Focus on performance tuning for large datasets and ensuring smooth operation across platforms.
  • Have a logical, structured approach to problem-solving and solution delivery.
  • Experience with Snowflake development will be beneficial.

Required Skills:

  • Strong SQL skills with experience in database development and optimization.
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, DBT, and Python for data processing.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, and GIT.
  • Proven ability to optimize performance for very large datasets.
  • Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to find the best solutions to business requirements.
  • Ability to deliver well-structured, tested software.
  • Excellent relationship management and business engagement skills.
  • Strong experience working with senior stakeholders.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with Snowflake development and data management.
  • Familiarity with financial services (beneficial but not essential).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic professional to play a key role in driving business data solutions in a fast-paced environment. If you are passionate about data, governance, and delivering impactful solutions, we would love to hear from you
