The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic higher level teaching assistant with PSA responsibility to support pupils learning at St Michaels C of E Primary School.

The Successful candidate will be a caring and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will blend classroom support with pastoral care. You'll support teaching and learning across the school, lead small group work, cover classes when needed, and help raise achievement for all pupils, including those with SEND such as autism, epilepsy, diabetes, and those requiring intimate care. You'll be a key part of our inclusive community, promoting participation in learning and activities, applying consistent behaviour strategies, and helping create a safe, positive environment.

Your PSA responsibilities will include daily meet-and-greet at the gate, liaising with parents around attendance and wellbeing, and working with external agencies like Early Help Hub and the local food bank. You'll also attend local meetings, collaborate with nearby schools, and regularly check in with children to support their emotional wellbeing.
