We are seeking an experienced Toxicologist who will use their prior knowledge and experience to support the toxicology team in project activities. You will be educated to MSc level in Toxicology (or equivalent) and ideally have several years of experience in toxicological risk assessment.

The main responsibilities of the role:-

  • Collating and verifying data and preparing raw material toxicological profiles to support new system database construction and R&D projects.
  • Utilising toxicological knowledge & experience by supporting toxicology team and relevant toxicological service offerings at Delphic.
  • Research and review of toxicological data in the literature to assist with profiling of raw materials and contributing to the development of our next generation chemical safety and regulatory management database and associated R&D projects.
  • Develop a wide understanding of various chemical and product regulations and apply relevant toxicological knowledge to seamlessly integrate with regulatory compliance activities.
  • The work involved is expected to contribute to the refinement and quality standards of our existing and potential toxicological services, such as toxicological risk assessments, CPSRs and bespoke risk assessments.
  • Candidates are expected to manage allocated workload to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a suitable quality. This may involve liaising with internal and external stakeholders to derive solutions best suited for the tasks assigned.

Activities may change as needed to support the needs of the company. Training will be planned & reviewed on an annual basis & courses will be provided. The Staff Member will be expected to apply themselves fully to the courses in-order to ensure they develop as required by the company. The company will invest in training for the Staff Member & give them all the tools available to assist in their learning. Some out of office hours learning and practice may be required.
