Your Purpose:

As a Retail Consultant, you will be the guiding force for local TCG stores, helping them unlock their full potential through expert insights and innovative strategies. Your journey with us will be about empowering these stores to elevate their operations and create unforgettable customer experiences that resonate within the community.

Your mission includes overseeing and nurturing a diverse portfolio of local retailers. Through building strong relationships, you'll implement core and new services offered by Merchant Guild, all aimed at amplifying in-store presence and optimizing operations—all while educating and inspiring retailers.

This role will be a remote position -
London, UK preferred

You will need to navigate remote work effectively while spending a significant amount of time on the road visiting your retailers. Your day-to-day tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Consultations & Evaluations:
  Conduct in-depth consultations and store evaluations for local TCG retailers to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• In-store experience:
  Provide guidance on effective sales techniques, visual merchandising, and event planning to enhance the in-store experience for customers and players.
• Market Development:
  Drive growth through various on-site initiatives, innovative marketing ideas, and creative collaboration, offering supportive assistance to the stores throughout the process.
• Market Insights:
  Continuously stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the market, ensuring that you are always aware of shifts in consumer preferences, industry innovations, and emerging opportunities.
• Community Building:
  Foster strong relationships within the retailer network by sharing best practices and success stories to build a supportive and collaborative community.
• Data Analysis:
  Analyze market data from participating stores to inform future strategies and recommendations, ensuring continuous improvement and success.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in their native language, with proficient spoken and written English skills to work well with our international team
• Understanding of or passion for the trading card games and the gaming community
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of taking charge of your own work schedule and planning tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations and best practices
• Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for fostering community and supporting local businesses.
• Fluency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Retail experience is a plus
• Tabletop industry experience not required
