Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fitter located in Bristol. The Fitter will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of plant and tool equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing faults, ensuring equipment is safe and ready for hire, and conducting routine services and maintenance. The role involves liaising with customers and ensuring high standards of service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Skills in equipment maintenance and mechanical repairs
  • Experience with diagnosing equipment faults and conducting routine services
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience in the plant hire or construction industry is an advantage
