We're Hiring: Producer (Live Events)
Make the extraordinary, everlasting - with us.
At EC, we craft extraordinary experiences that leave a lasting impression – not just for our clients, but for our people too. We blend the big ideas of a creative agency with the meticulous execution of a production company, bringing bold, imaginative events to life.
We're collaborative, down-to-earth, and serious about delivering quality – all while finding time for lightness and fun. If you're someone who's curious, adaptable and excited to do meaningful work with a team that's got your back, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
We're on the lookout for a Producer to join our Projects Team, specialising in delivering exceptional guest experience across a variety of B2B events, filling a pivotal role within our agency offering. Our Producers are at the heart of making it happen, leading on the development, production and delivery of our agency-based projects, from conception to execution, managing budgets of up to £500k.
Who are you?
- You're a true event professional with a solid background from both live, hybrid and digital events.
- You're an experienced producer/senior project manager/senior event manager with experience either within a similar role within creative event agencies, DMCs, or in an extended freelance capacity, with live events as your primary focus.
- You're comfortable with being the primary contact for day-to-day client communications on your projects as well as being the main project driver and budget owner.
- You're a collaborative worker, you naturally gravitate to other discipline specialists, acting as the linchpin pulling all elements of a successful event together efficiently and effectively.
- You have extensive knowledge in guest experience including guest logistics and event management, and are comfortable managing venues, caterers, DMC's, guest logistics, speakers, security, VIP guest management and accreditation.
- You have a working knowledge of creative and live show production and comfortable working in a team alongside specialists in those fields.
- You're a passionate project manager and a strong communicator, both in person and in written content, with excellent attention to detail.
- You don't get phased under pressure, you're the consummate professional. Even when something isn't going quite accordingly to plan, you remain calm and get the situation sorted.
- You have a strong track record in delivering complex events with big budgets both B2C and B2B in a variety of sectors (conference, awards, experiential, dinners).
- You're not afraid to push boundaries but also understand there will always need to be a natural balance between creative and delivery.
- You easily manage multiple stakeholders from all disciplines on a project, and are an expert at pulling everyone's requirements and ideas into strong, deliverable events.
- You're comfortable with clients. You are experienced in speaking with them and analysing a brief to ensure that what we produce for them meets, or better still exceeds, their requirements.

- You're commercially astute. You push boundaries, whilst keeping the project budget in mind and can weigh up the best solutions to maximise impact for our clients.
- You have a strong black book of suppliers and are confident in managing relationships with them including project briefing, negotiating budgets and driving timelines.
- You have strong attention to detail and recognise how one change within a project affects multiple elements.
- You love logistics and enjoy ensuring all guest movements are on time and event schedules always up to date.
- You always consider the guest experience in all aspect of planning and delivery, making sure every touch point is considered
- You have experience with delivering events internationally and can confidently adapt your approach to fit with local cultures.
- You enjoy travel, are adept at working whilst on the road, with global client teams and across international time zones.
- You care about the planet and are interested in finding more sustainable ways of doing things. You're committed to our 2030 Pledge and happy to join our mission to create #ImpactWithoutImpact at our events.
You don't have to tick every box - we care just as much about curiosity, adaptability and a growth mindset as we do experience on paper.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
