What you'll be doing
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Director of Marketing Technology and Automation within our Marketing division. This position falls under our Corporate Services line of business and is located in London or Swindon, UK.
In this role, you will lead our marketing technology and automation strategy across the UK and Europe. You will be responsible for the orchestration of our marketing automation platforms - Marketo, Webeo (web personalization), and Twilio SMS - driving scalable, compliant, and personalized engagement across brands and regions.
You will manage a team of marketing automation professionals, working closely with our Salesforce, Data, and Marketing teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and insight-driven marketing operations across multiple brands. Looking ahead, you will play a pivotal role in driving our future roadmap: implementing a Customer Data Platform (CDP), embedding AI-driven functionalities, and ensuring our MarTech stack supports growth, personalization, and efficiency. Experience with Account-Based Marketing approaches and enrichment and workflow tools such as Clay is highly advantageous, as these will become increasingly central to our strategy.
You will report directly to the Global SVP for Marketing and regularly collaborate with sales, business leaders and the wider marketing team.

Role Responsibilities
Marketing Technology Ownership
Own and optimize the end-to-end marketing automation ecosystem, including Marketo, Webeo, and Twilio SMS.
Ensure integrations with Salesforce, data lakes, and third-party platforms run smoothly and reliably.
Define and enforce best practices for campaign execution, lead management, and data governance across brands and regions.
Leadership & Team Management
Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of 3 marketing automation specialists.
Fostering a collaborative, innovative, and data-driven culture across the marketing technology function.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary bridge between Marketing, Sales Operations, Salesforce, and Data/BI teams to ensure data availability/accuracy and tool integrations.
Partner with brand and campaign teams to deliver targeted, personalized, and high-impact programs, including ABM initiatives.
Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Innovation & Future Roadmap
Leading the evaluation and implementation of a Customer Data Platform (CDP).
Champion the adoption of AI-driven marketing capabilities (e.g. predictive scoring, next-best-action, AI-powered content and segmentation).
Stay ahead of the latest trends in MarTech, ABM, and AI, ensuring the business leverages the right tools to remain competitive.
Governance & Performance
Ensuring GDPR and data privacy compliance across all campaigns and platforms.
Define and track KPIs for marketing automation and technology performance.
Continuously improve ROI, efficiency, and customer experience through automation and personalization.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience at Director or Head of level in Marketing Automation/MarTech within B2B or multi-brand environments.
- Track record of managing and growing small high-performing teams across geographies.
- Expertise in Marketo and marketing automation concepts like scoring, segmentation, life cycle flows, and nurturing.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, CRM integrations, and data flows between systems.
- Preferably experience with web personalization (Webeo) and SMS marketing (Twilio SMS).
- Preferably experience in scoping, selecting, and implementing advanced MarTech platforms such as CDPs and AI tools.
- Preferably experience with ABM strategies and enrichment/work flow tools (e.g. Clay) is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to bridge marketing, data, and sales operations.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, data governance, and compliance in digital marketing.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on ability to optimize workflows and drive innovation.
